Franchise

While we do prefer that candidates have prior experience, it is not a requirement. What we do require are franchisees who will be hands on in developing their business, as well as active in the daily operations of their locations. We want franchisees who are motivated to grow Coconut Jelly King’s presence in their geographic area. You must also be willing to follow our proven system of standards and guidelines, as well as exemplify and promote the highest levels of customer service. 

Our franchise system is based on a multi-unit operator model. We do look for any franchisee joining Coconut Jelly King to commit to opening multiple locations. The total number of locations required will be determined, at our sole discretion. It will be based off the geographic territory you are interested in and the number of locations that area could support. Single location opportunities are also available and will be evaluated on a case by case basis. 

While costs are variable based on numerous circumstances, the typical cost for each location is about $100,000 - $200,000 

$30,000-35,000 per location, depending on whether you sign an exclusive or non-exclusive agreement 

Typically between 250-1000 sq ft, depending if it is a kiosk or inline 

Prior to opening, you will be required to attend a one-week intensive training at our corporate store locations in Los Angeles where you will learn full FOH and BOH procedures.

Royalty Fee: 6% of gross sales, monthly

Marketing Fee: 1.5% of gross sales, monthly

No, we do not. 

We cannot disclose any sales data, nor will we make any sales or profitability predictions on any location. Much of your success will be based on how well you operate your Coconut Jelly King and how closely you follow our policies and procedures. As you are making a substantial financial investment, you should perform any financial projections as a part of the business plan you will be required to submit to us.
